JAY WHITTAKER

Hi I'm Jay, I'm a freelance Dubbing Mixer, Sound Designer, Sound Editor and owner of BHP Sound Post Ltd. The facility based just outside Liverpool is capable of mixing in Stereo and 5.1 Surround for broadcast TV, across all genres. We also have a dedicated VO booth catering for ADR and Voice Overs using Source Nexus and Zoom for clients online  attendance.

 

I am Avid Pro Tools Certified and also member of The Association of Motion Picture Sound (AMPS), BAFTA and BECTU.

I have been in the audio and music industry for many years. Starting out as a guitarist at the age of 7, and then onto recording and assisting Grammy award winning and platinum selling mix engineers.

I am currently working on drama, HETV and factual programs for the BBC, Channel 4, Lime Pictures, Big Wave TV, Off The Wall, Channel 5, ITN Films, AO.com, Gibson Guitars UK, Elemo Global, Dabble, and have huge experience creating National Radio and TVC spots.
